Official welcoming ceremony of President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov was held

An official welcoming ceremony of President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been held.

The guard of honor was arranged in honor of the distinguished guest in a square decorated with state flags of the two states.

The chief of the guard of honor delivered a report to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

President Ilham Aliyev welcomed President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

The chief of the guard of honor delivered a report to the President of Uzbekistan. National anthems of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan were played.

Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Islam Karimov reviewed the guard of honor. The President of Uzbekistan saluted Azerbaijani soldiers.

Representatives of the state and government of Azerbaijan were introduced to President of Uzbekistan, while members of the Uzbek delegation were introduced to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The guard of honor marched in front of the heads of state under the accompaniment of a military march.
