President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a Youth Center in Zardab.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center.
During familiarization with the Youth Center built in the Heydar Aliyev Park, the President was informed that there is a photo stand in the courtyard describing meetings of the winners of the 30th Summer Olympic Games in London and the Olympic team with President Ilham Aliyev. In the lobby of the centre there are photos reflecting different aspects of social and political activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev and their visits to Zardab.
It was noted that the construction of the Youth Center began in July last year. The total floor area of the one-storey building is 615,500 square meters. Construction has been carried out using 2 million manats allocated by a decree of President Ilham Aliyev from 11 May 2011 after a visit to Zardab. The center, fitted with all the necessary equipment and consisting of 10 rooms and a dance hall, is well suited for youth leisure. There is a cinema at the center. There is also a computer room. All computers are connected to broadband Internet.
The center will operate computer courses, tailoring and music clubs. The center’s café has all the conditions for youth recreation.
The head of state examined the dance room. There is a shooting gallery and a billiards room. In general, the center will play an important part in the organization of efficient leisure activities.
After reviewing the center, President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
