To His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan 

Excellency,

I wish to wholeheartedly congratulate you on winning the election and on being re-elected as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The election results manifest the unwavering support and trust of the people of Azerbaijan in Your Excellency’s leadership and determination to strengthen unity, prosperity and peace.

I take this opportunity to inform you that UNAOC is delighted to remain a long-term partner of the Government of Azerbaijan in various Government-led initiatives that promote interreligious and intercultural dialogue, including, but not limited to the “Baku Process”. UNAOC is a member of the international Task Force for the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue (WFID) scheduled to take place on 1-3 May, 2024 in Baku. My team has already engaged in the substantive programme consultations and I look forward to personally representing UNAOC at the 6th WFID, contributing to its successful deliberations and outcomes.

UNAOC remains committed to further strengthening cooperation and joint initiatives with the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations in New York.
