President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a new building of the Zardab District branch of the “Yeni Azerbaijan Party”.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the building.
The President reviewed a photo stand describing the progress of construction.
It was noted that the construction of the building, located in the Heydar Aliyev Park, began in May this year. A green area has been established around the two-storey building with a floor area of 451,000 square meters and a lighting system installed. On the first floor there is a bust of great leader Heydar Aliyev surrounded with pictures reflecting the participation of the nationwide leader and Chairman of the “Yeni Azerbaijan Party”, President Ilham Aliyev, in party congresses and their visits to Zardab District. The building consists of six rooms and a conference hall, which can host events of national and local importance. All the rooms are fully suited for effective work.
It was noted that special attention was paid to the introduction of state-of-the-art information and communication technologies. All the rooms are equipped with modern facilities. The building is equipped with a modern ventilation system.
It was also indicated that the Zardab District branch of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party was founded on 14 August 1993. It currently includes 5,400 members and 64 grassroots organizations. The ranks of the organization grow every year thanks to the young people joining it. Currently, young people account for 37 per cent of party members, while 44 per cent of members are women.
The President praised the work done and gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
