President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Heydar Park and the Heydar Aliyev Center in Tartar after reconstruction.
While walking in the park, the President was informed that, as elsewhere in the country, the people of Tartar revere the memory of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev. The Heydar Park, a favorite place of recreation for residents and visitors of the district, has been renovated in a modern style and according to the architectural traditions in a manner pleasing the eye. As a result of the reconstruction, ornamental trees and flower bushes have been planted on an area of two hectares. New benches and a modern lighting system have been installed. The park has all the conditions for effective recreation. The green area has been further expanded.
President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the photo stands reflecting the previous and present appearance of the park, and the landscaping and construction work ongoing in Tartar District.
It was noted that the entrance to the park is in the form of an arch, there are two fountains, two water canals, two modern tea-houses and seven bridges. Ornamental trees and flower bushes are planted in the park. An open-air 450-seat hall has been established for meaningful leisure and entertainment in the summer months. The Heydar Aliyev Center has been built in a modern architectural style.
When touring the Heydar Aliyev Center, the President was informed that the it was built using elements of national architecture and the latest technologies. The area of the two-storey center is 432 square meters. On the first floor, the young generation can study the heritage of great leader Heydar Aliyev using a conference room, a computer center and an electronic library. The classrooms, along with studying the life and activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, will provide information about the great leader’s care about culture, arts, sports and other areas. The center also has a foreign languages club and an art studio. It will operate courses where the younger generation can study technological innovations and develop its knowledge and skills.
On the second floor of the center there is a bust of the great leader and a museum documenting the life and activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev. There are also photo stands describing the visits of the great leader to various districts of the country and the meetings held there. The people of Tartar always remember the saving mission of the nationwide leader and revere his memory. This grand center established in Tartar indicates that the memory of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev lives on in people’s hearts. In general, the center plays an important role in studying the heritage of great leader Heydar Aliyev. All necessary conditions have been put in place for the population of the district to take advantage of the center’s opportunities.
The President praised the work done and gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
