Ilham Aliyev met with Senior Vice President and Global Innovation Officer for CISCO in Davos

In Davos, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with CISCO's Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer, Guy Diedrich.

During the meeting, the parties praised Azerbaijan and Cisco's excellent long-term partnership.

Guy Dietrich stated that a digitalization project was implemented in one of the schools in Azerbaijan.

During the conversation, it was stressed that hundreds of schools in Azerbaijan would be included in this program.

President Ilham Aliyev said that the "smart city" and "smart village" initiatives had been effectively implemented in the Zangilan region. He emphasized that these projects would also be implemented in other liberated territories.

The head of state expressed appreciation for Cisco's "Report on the Smart City Structure of Azerbaijan."

During the conversation, the parties discussed the application of Cisco technologies in the management of water resources in Azerbaijan and the potential for cooperation in the domains of education and cybersecurity.
