An official reception has been hosted on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, in honor of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

The official reception featured a concert program.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov presented a photo album about the great leader Heydar Aliyev to the President of Azerbaijan.

President Sadyr Japarov: Dear Ilham Heydar oglu, we have a lot of followers of Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev in our country. These are not empty words. This is proof – this is a “Memory of the great son of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev,” in my hands. This album was made by his followers, who asked me to give it to you. With your permission, I am presenting it to you.

President Ilham Aliyev: Thank you, dear Sadyr Nurgozhoyevich, for such a commemoration. We saw video footage of Heydar Alirza oglu arriving for the millennium celebration of the “Manas” epic. All members of our delegation – I share in their feelings – experienced the same feelings, a sense of pride, a feeling that we are continuing his path of a brotherhood of Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz peoples. But you have also given me another book.

President Sadyr Japarov: It is just about the Kyrgyz.

President Ilham Aliyev: It is a book about the Kyrgyz in Azerbaijani. This book is also worthy of respect because we must know each other through our languages, Azerbaijani, through Kyrgyz, which have common roots.
