The locomotive depot of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC was commissioned

A locomotive depot of Azerbaijan Railways Closed Joint Stock Company was commissioned on January 30 in Gandja.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the event.

The head of state launched the depot.

Gandja locomotive depot is supplied with state-of-the-art equipment and devices manufactured by the United States, Germany, UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, the Republic of Korea, China, Russia and other countries.

The depot is equipped with 350 solar panels, which allow meeting part of its energy demand.

The new depot will create 75 jobs.
