President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have attended the opening of newly-reconstructed “Qarabag” hotel in the city of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
The hotel, built in 1980, ceased operations in May 1992 as a result of the occupation of Shusha. After the liberation of Shusha from the Armenian occupation, thanks to the glorious triumph of the victorious Azerbaijani Army, on President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, the restoration and reconstruction work started in the hotel.
