Fırst Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has congratulated the Azerbaijani athlete Hamid Heydari, who won a gold medal at Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.
In a post on her official Instagram page, the First Vice-President said: “Our next victory! The athlete of our national team Hamid Heydari won the seventh gold medal for Azerbaijan! He broke the world record in the javelin throw with a result of 51.42m. I sincerely congratulate our athlete and wish our national team new achievements.”
