“Qafqaz Riverside” hotel opened in Gabala

President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of “Qafqaz Resort” Hotel in Gabala.

The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening and toured the tourism facility.

The President was informed that the five-star hotel, construction of which commenced in 2008, was one of the biggest projects carried out by “Gilan Tourism”. The President checked out the construction process of this hotel during his visit to Gabala in February.

It was mentioned that the hotel, with a general area of 16 hectares and a construction area of 2250 m2, features main 7-storey building and cottages. Imported furniture and accessories were used for the interior design of the building, constructed as a synthesis of avant-garde and modern architectural styles.

There are 123 rooms: 96 Superior rooms, 12 Junior Suits, 6 Deluxe Suits, 4 Duplex Suits, 5 King Suits. All the necessary conditions are created in rooms for high-level comfort of guests. All of the rooms have been equipped with digital safe, mini-bar, air-conditioning system, satellite TV, international landline, and Wi-Fi Internet.

It was noted that 38 modern cottages, conforming to high-level standards, had been built in the area of the hotel complex. American cuisine provides services in the cottages, possessing ideal conditions for family vacation. Hotel guests can enjoy room service, fax- X-ray machines, indoor garage, laundry service, shopping center, bus service, and medical services. A 300-seat cafeteria and a 150-seat made to order restaurant, provide services for guests.

Guests can taste Azerbaijan and world cuisine delights in the restaurant. Hotel features numerous bars with rich menu selection. A garden for 70 people had been set for those who would like to spend their free time in the open air. In addition, confectioner corner also provides services. Two 25-seat and one 150-seat conference rooms had been built for organizing conferences, meetings, seminars, and presentation ceremonies. The hotel also features a health center, sauna, Turkish bath, outdoor and indoor pools, and a gym. Guests can play billiard and table tennis in their free time. Children were not forgotten, and a kid’s playing area had been built in the area of the hotel.
