A meeting of President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul has been held at the international congress center Lutfi Kirdar.
The sides noted that the summit to mark the 20th anniversary of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) organization would contribute to the development of cooperation between participating countries. Expressing satisfaction with the rapid development of ties between the two countries in all spheres, the heads of the fraternal countries stressed the need for enhanced efforts to further deepen this cooperation.
Endorsing the current level of economic ties between the two countries, the Presidents noted the importance of the documents relating to the development of this sphere.
The Presidents also exchanged views on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
