President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the former foreign minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, Hans-Dietrich Genscher.
President Ilham Aliyev recalled his meeting with Hans-Dietrich Genscher in Munich. Expressing his satisfaction with the fact that the distinguished guest has come to Azerbaijan with a large delegation, the President voiced his hope that the visit would create good opportunities for the discussion of further cooperation.
The former German foreign minister, Hans-Dietrich Genscher, said his delegation and himself were very impressed with Azerbaijan’s rapid development. Noting that he had come to Azerbaijan with a large delegation representing various sectors of German society, Hans-Dietrich Genscher said his country was interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres and deepening the relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
The sides exchanged views on further expanding cooperation between the two countries in political, economic and cultural spheres.
