Ilham Aliyev checked out the final touch-up works on State Flag Square

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva checked out the final touch-up works on State Flag Square.

The President was briefed on carried out works. It was noted that one of the main state symbols – a giant emblem of Azerbaijan was built on State Flag Square. The emblem, made of bronze, was gold plated. The emblem will contribute to the grandeur of State Flag Square, as well as the capital, while adding shades to its appearance. 

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva were also given detailed information about the museum, rich with expositions, built on the square. While touring the museum, it was mentioned that valuable exponents related to flag and other state symbols had been collected in the museum.

President Ilham Aliyev was also briefed on works and other measures planned to be carried out for enlargement, land improvement, landscape development, and renovation of State Flag Square.

Having familiarized with touch-up works on State Flag Square, the President gave his suggestions and instructions.
