President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of a new building of the Press Council.
President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening and toured the building.
The President was told that favorable conditions had been created for members and employers of the council in the two-storey building, which had undergone capital reconstruction of modern standards. The general construction area of the building, including its basement, is 700 m2. Renovation and greenery works had been carried out in the surrounding areas; modern lighting, air ventilation, fire protection, and communication systems had been installed.
Besides service rooms, a conference hall, as well as rooms for reception, monitoring group, and commissions are located in the building.
Having toured the building, President Ilham Aliyev met with Managerial Board of the Press Council. The President congratulated them both on National Press Day and with opening of the new building and gave them his suggestions.
