Ilham Aliyev visited the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in Gazakh

As part of a visit to the north-western region of the republic, President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Gazakh District.

First the head of state laid flowers at a statue of the nationwide leader established in the Heydar Aliyev Park.

The head of the Gazakh District Executive Authority, Ayaz Asgarov, informed President Ilham Aliyev about the landscaping work carried out in the Heydar Aliyev Park.

It was indicated that construction work in the park, covering an area of four hectares, was carried out between January and April this year. An area of two hectares has been covered with decorative stones, granite slabs and asphalt. An area of 10,000 square meters has been landscaped and planted with ornamental trees and flower bushes. The two fountains built in a modern architectural style impart further beauty to the park. The edges of sidewalks and the entrance to the park are decorated with granite and decorative stones. A modern lighting system and benches have been installed.

Praising the work carried out, President Ilham Aliyev gave instructions and recommendations.
