Ilham Aliyev and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev had a face-to-face meeting

After the official welcoming ceremony, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva had a joint meeting with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev and his Raisa Atambayeva.

Then President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev held a face-to-face meeting.

The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan in different areas. It was noted that there was a good potential for a further expansion of ties between the two countries.

The parties also pointed to the importance of the official visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev to Azerbaijan from the standpoint of a further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues.
