Dear fellow countrymen!
I would like to sincerely congratulate you on Novruz and wish each one of you good health, happiness and success.
Novruz is one of the most favorite holidays of our people. Thanks to the inexhaustible moral strength of this dear holiday, which has always been cherished in Azerbaijan, we have managed to preserve our optimism and look forward to the future even in the most difficult and challenging times in our centuries-long past. The people of Azerbaijan have played an exceptional role in ensuring the continuity of Novruz traditions throughout the centuries of our history. The holiday of spring, a treasure of spirituality and wisdom combining the highest human qualities, is vivid evidence of our attachment to the historical and cultural heritage.
The fact that our free country has managed to build its fate in accordance with its own wishes in the years that have elapsed since we regained independence gives our people a true holiday mood on such cherished occasions. The positive changes ongoing in all spheres of life in our country are giving us the confidence that we will achieve even better results in the coming years and join the ranks of the world’s most developed countries. This makes us all feel proud and excited. The atmosphere of renewal that Novruz bolsters in each one of us brings us closer to the goal of building a modern and prosperous society.
On these days we pay tribute to our sons and daughters who have sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of our Motherland. I am confident that every victory we attain along the path of overall development of our country will gladden the souls of our martyrs.
I am sending holiday greetings to our fellow compatriots living outside Azerbaijan but whose hearts are always with Azerbaijan, those showing solidarity with and rallying behind the ideology of Azerbaijanism.
May this arrival of spring bring every household, every family abundance and prosperity!
