Dear Mrs. President,

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own, I would like to sincerely congratulate you and through you all the people of your country on the national holiday – the Day of restoration of the state of Lithuania.

The current level of Azerbaijani-Lithuanian relations is reassuring. I am very pleased that the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation between our countries have entered the phase of dynamic development and are acquiring a new meaning.

The steps we have taken to develop our relations both bilaterally and within international organizations are opening up new prospects for a further deepening of our cooperation. I do hope that we will continue to make joint efforts for the realization of these opportunities.

Dear Mrs. President, on this auspicious day I wish you good health and every success in your activities, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Lithuania.
