President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Azerbaijan, Altin Kodra.
Ambassador Altin Kodra inspected the guard of honor. Altin Kodra presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had a discussion with the Ambassador.
The President said there were good prospects for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Albania in various areas, including political, economic and energy spheres. President Ilham Aliyev recalled with satisfaction his meetings with Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha on the sidelines of different international forums. The President wished the diplomat every success in his activities in Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Altin Kodra expressed hope that the relations between Azerbaijan and Albania would expand further in different directions, including economic, political and other areas, and added that he would do his best to achieve that.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
