Ilham Aliyev participated at the opening of Cultural Activities House in Goranboy

President Ilham Aliyev participated at the opening of the Cultural Activities House in Goranboy following its full refurbishment and reconstruction.

Head of state was informed that a particular attention was paid to the high quality of refurbishment work in the building.

The bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev is installed in the entrance hall of the building. It features also a photo gallery demonstrating care of great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to the development of culture and arts in our country.

It was noted that all conditions are ensure in the conference hall of the Cultural Activities House to hold high level meetings of local importance.

Administrative rooms are located at the first floor of the building.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the Cultural Activities House commissioned in 1960 has been in emergency situation due to the pending repair work due since long time. The full refurbishment and reconstruction work has started here in January 2011. As a result of the refurbishment and restoration work, it became possible to reconstruct the hall, entrance and rooms of the buildings. The entrance hall is constructed in the modern architectural style. The building of the Cultural Activities House equipped with the modern equipment has got a new stony façade.

Head of state familiarized with the large hall of the Cultural Activities House. It was noted that this hall has necessary conditions to hold various events with participation of 400 persons.

President Ilham Aliyev listened to the Friendly People song written by composer Ogtay Zulfugarov and performed by the chorus of the children’s art school of Goranboy city.

Having studied the Cultural Activities House, President of Azerbaijan wished success to the staff.
