Ilham Aliyev visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city of Ganja

President Ilham Aliyev arrived to the city of Ganja.

Head of state laid the wreath of flowers to the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Afterwards, President of Azerbaijan was briefed about the work done in the central square of Ganja city.

Head of state was informed that the work carried out for the development of regions in the course of recent years is accompanied with the renovation of Ganja’s urban infrastructure and resuming of activities of new enterprises in social and production fields.

The development program of Ganja has been prepared, and it is being implemented successfully.

Multiple visits of President Ilham Aliyev to Ganja are recalled by important changes in the city’s life. Head of state recommended keeping national features while carrying out modernization work in Ganja. By maintaining and preserving historical image and traditional architectural style of Ganja, the decision on modernization has been taken also in accordance with recommendations of the President of Azerbaijan. Furthermore, according to instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, it has been decided to add monumental elements that highlight the ancient character of the urban architectural ensemble. As a result of attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev and Madam Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a big deal of work was carried out to restore historical and architectural monuments of Ganja.
