President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has viewed the renovation work carried out at the secondary school No. 251 in Nizami district, Baku and attended the opening of a new facility of the school.
The head of state was informed of the conditions created here. The school had functioned since 1974. It enrolls nearly 1,700 students who are attended by almost 100 teachers.
The 840-seat new facility has chemistry, physics, biology labs, 35 classrooms, a library, a reading hall and auxiliary rooms. All classrooms are equipped with teaching aids and projectors.
The children of this school are also distinguished for their achievements, winning competitions held in Romania and Turkey.
After viewing the school, President Ilham Aliyev asked the school principal Aygun Azizova to
convey his greetings to students and parents.
Residents of a nearby multi-story building greeted the head of state from their apartments’ balconies.
