As per the agenda of his visit to Balakan, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of “Gubek” hotel in Balakan region.

The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening and toured the four-star hotel.

It was mentioned that the construction of the 100-room hotel, located next to the Heydar Aliyev Culture and Leisure Park, had started in 2007. There are 9 luxury rooms, 54 standard rooms, a conference hall of 80 seats, and 80-seat summer and winter restaurants. The building is provided with incessant electric power. A boiling-room and auto garage also functions at the hotel. 80 people have been employed at the hotel.

President Ilham Aliyev praised the conditions created.
