Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new office building of the Gabala District Executive Authority

President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a new office building of the Gabala District Executive Authority.

The President was informed that the construction of the building, the foundation of which was laid in March last year, was completed in October 2011. All offices are duly furnished and equipped and have comfortable working conditions.

It was indicated that landscaping had been carried out around the building, two fountains created and a modern lighting system installed. In front of the building there is a marble plate with the image of Azerbaijan’s map. The new office building of the local executive authority lends further beauty to the appearance of the district center. The building has its own boiler house, a transformer substation, two water tanks and artesian wells.

It was noted that this location of the construction was chosen on purpose. In the lobby, there is a bust of great leader Heydar Aliyev, who has made a great contribution to the development of Gabala District. There is also a photo stand documenting the activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev towards developing the country.

It was mentioned that the interior of the building, which has around 50 offices, is also finished with good taste. The 152-seat assembly hall on the third floor is fitted with modern technical equipment. There is a separate room for translators, a small conference room and a cafeteria for 40 people.

The President was told that the new office building has necessary conditions for employees to have a rest. In the basement there is a sports room with ping-pong and billiard tables. Also on this floor there is a library, a warehouse, archives and an emergency control room.

President Ilham Aliyev visited the control station which overlooks the district. In case of an emergency, it is possible to establish a video link with the villages of Vandam, Bum and Nij.

The head of state enjoyed the views of the surrounding area from the balcony.

The Azerbaijani President expressed his satisfaction with the work done and gave instructions and recommendations.
