Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,
On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I heartily congratulate you and all the people of friendly Russia on the occasion of Russia Day.
Azerbaijan and Russia are bound together by traditionally close relations of friendship, good neighborhood and cooperation. It is pleasant that these relations, which clearly reflect the will of our peoples, are now those of strategic partnership. The collaboration of our countries on a broad range of issues is particularly satisfactory.
I am confident that comprehensive and multifaceted cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia will continue developing and strengthening to the benefit of our peoples and countries, and for peace, security and stability in the region.
Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, I wish you the best of health, happiness and successes, and all the Russians peace and prosperity.
Sincerely,
Ilham Aliyev
