President Ilham Aliyev has received the ninth President of the Republic of Turkey, Suleyman Demirel.
During the meeting the sides recalled with satisfaction Suleyman Demirel’s meetings with great leader Heydar Aliyev and their friendship. The parties also emphasized the importance of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum and expressed confidence that the friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey would continue to strengthen in the future.
The President of Azerbaijan thanked Turkey’s ninth President for accepting the invitation to attend the International Humanitarian Forum.
Then a dinner was hosted on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in honor of the ninth President of the Republic of Turkey, Suleyman Demirel.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
