Ilham Aliyev received the Chair of the California Senate Environmental Quality Committee, Joseph Simitian

President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Chair of the California Senate Environmental Quality Committee, Senator Joseph Simitian.

Stressing that the relations between the two countries were developing successfully, President Ilham Aliyev pointed to the importance of mutual visits for the expansion of bilateral relations. Expressing hope that the visit by the US delegation to Azerbaijan would be successful, the President said it would provide a good opportunity for a closer familiarization of delegation members with our country.

The Chair of the California Senate Environmental Quality Committee, Senator Joseph Simitian, expressed his satisfaction with the visit along with a delegation representing the Californian legislature. Joseph Simitian said the delegation includes senators representing various regions of California and pointed to the significance of the visit from the standpoint of familiarization with Azerbaijan.
