President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva had a meeting with Bulgarian leader Georgi Parvanov and his wife Zorka Parvanova.

The President and his spouse met the Bulgarian President and the First Lady in front of the palace.

Then, they held a meeting. The sides expressed satisfaction with development of bilateral relations in political, economic, energy and other fields, during the meeting. They also stressed the importance of high-level visits. The significance of the Bulgarian president`s trip in terms of expanding the bilateral relations was emphasized.

Bilateral, regional, and international issues were discussed at the meeting.
