Ilham Aliyev examined progress of reconstruction at secondary school No 92 in Gala settlement

President Ilham Aliyev examined progress of capital overhaul and reconstruction at secondary school No. 92 in the Gala settlement of the Khazar district.

In accordance with the action plan on capital overhaul and reconstruction of school buildings, which is part of the State Program on the socioeconomic development of Baku and its suburban settlements in 2011-2013 for the current year, the capital refurbishment and reconstruction of premises of secondary schools of the capital is under way. According to the State Program, along with the overhaul of school buildings, construction of extra classrooms, sports and assembly halls and full provision of necessary equipments for the educational facilities in need is being planned.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed of the progress of reconstruction and renovation works, carried out at the secondary school no. 92. It was noted that the two-storied school building had opened its doors in 1969. 436 pupils receive education during the first shift at the secondary school with a capacity for 480 pupils. 80 pupils from the Malibey village of the Lachin district receive education at this school during the second shift. During the repair works carried out in accordance with the State Program, the school building has been completely reconstructed and 6 additional classrooms have been built on the second floor. Classes have been provided with new desks; doors and windows have been replaced; floor has been substantially renovated; the ceiling has been completely replaced. Modern heating system has been installed at the school.

The President gave instructions on construction and full utilization of a new boiling-house by early winter.

The front yard of the school no. 92 has been renovated and the old asphalt coating has been replaced with brand a new one. New asphalt coating has been laid over the street, where the school building is located, and greenery stripes have been planted in the surroundings.

Having familiarized closely with major overhaul and reconstruction works, President Ilham Aliyev gave additional instructions on construction of a new sports complex next to the school building for the use of schoolchildren and settlement residents.
