Ilham Aliyev examined progress of reconstruction at secondary schools No 33 and 125 and kindergarten No 244

President Ilham Aliyev has examined progress of major overhaul and reconstruction at secondary schools No 33 and 125 and kindergarten No 244 in the Buzovna settlement of the Khazar district in Baku.

In accordance with the action plan on major overhaul and reconstruction of schools, which is part of the State Program on the socioeconomic development of Baku and its suburban settlements in 2011-2013 for this year, major overhaul and reconstruction of secondary schools of the capital is under way.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has visited the Buzovna settlement of the Khazar district where he was informed of the work done. It was indicated that school No 33 was built in 2002. A total of 267 pupils are receiving education at the school which is designed for 168 children. Classes are conducted in two shifts. Considering the high density, an additional 200-pupil school building has been constructed.

Then President Ilham Aliyev visited school No 125 in the Buzovna settlement. A total of 555 pupils are receiving education at the school which is designed for 340 children. Classes are conducted in two shifts. Considering the high density of pupils at the school, an additional six classrooms have been built.

Then President Ilham Aliyev visited kindergarten No 244 in the Buzovna settlement to examine progress of major overhaul there. The head of state was informed of the work done. It was noted that since the previous building of the kindergarten was unsafe, it has been knocked down and a new one built instead. The kindergarten is designed for 60 kids and children will be divided in three groups there. All necessary conditions meeting the latest requirements will be created in the newly-constructed building.

After reviewing the work, President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant recommendations.
