Ilham Aliyev received president of Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received President of the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe (ACRE), Vice-Chairman of International Trade Committee of European Parliament, MEP Jan Zahradil.

Expressing his satisfaction with the participation of Jan Zahradil in Baku Summit of the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe to be held tomorrow, the head of state hailed the organization of this important international forum in the capital of Azerbaijan.

Saying that he visits Azerbaijan as President of the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe (ACRE), Vice-Chairman of International Trade Committee of European Parliament and a Member of the European Parliament, Jan Zahradil noted that the Alliance is successfully cooperating with Azerbaijan. Touching upon Czech Republic-Azerbaijan bilateral relations, he pointed out the successful development of these ties. Jan Zahradil stressed the importance of cooperation between the two countries at the level of strategic cooperation. Jan Zahradil expressed his pleasure that he contributes to the development of relations between Europe and Azerbaijan.

Underlining the high-level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Commission, the head of state emphasized the significance of the fact that agreements and declarations on strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and nine member states of the European Union, including the Czech Republic were adopted and signed. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his confidence that the event to be held in Baku tomorrow will create a good opportunity for many guests to get acquainted with Azerbaijan.
