On behalf of the World Jewish Congress, the international organization representing Jewish communities and organizations in over 100 countries around the world, we are pleased to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your decisive re-election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

We have long appreciated your staunch support for the Jewish community in Azerbaijan. As you stated at our last meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan and the Jewish people have a long history of friendship and our two peoples enjoy excellent relations. Further, the strong bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the State of Israel continue to be very encouraging.
