Ilham Aliyev reviewed the Kazan Helicopter Plant Open Joint-Stock Company

President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the Kazan Helicopter Plant Open Joint-Stock Company.

President Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, has reviewed the Kazan Helicopter Plant Open Joint-Stock Company.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the plant has been in operation since 1940. It manufactures helicopters of various purposes, including those used in public health, sport competitions, civil aviation, cargo carriages and defense, as well as KamAZ hardware, buses, etc.

The head of state visited different workshops of the plant, reviewed the famous Mi-17 and Mi-38 helicopters and examined the technical parameters of modern helicopters Aktay, Kazan, Ansat and Ansat-U. It was indicated that the key distinctive features of the helicopters manufactured by the plant are reliability and safety.

President Ilham Aliyev also examined the KamAZ motor vehicle with a methane engine, public service vehicles, construction hardware and Nefaz bus – all manufactured by the plant. The President of Azerbaijan reviewed the feed system of the hardware’s flame engine and enquired about its environmental parameters.

In conclusion, models of the Mi-17 helicopter and KamAZ truck were presented to the head of state.
