Following the expanded meeting, a ceremony of signing documents has been held with participation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis.

Co-chairman of Latvia-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation on behalf of Azerbaijan, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyngulu Baghirov and Minister of Transport of Latvia Uldis Augulis signed “The Memorandum of Understanding on International Combined Freight Transport between the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Latvia”
