After the official welcoming ceremony, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Slovenian President Danilo Türk had a face-to-face meeting.
During the meeting the sides pointed to the successful development of bilateral relations in different spheres and expressed confidence that the visits by Slovenian President Danilo Türk to Azerbaijan and by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Slovenia would contribute to a further expansion of relations. It was noted that there was a great potential for a further expansion of relations.
The sides also exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international matters.
Then Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Slovenian President Danilo Türk exchanged state presents.
