President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies Turki Al-Faisal.
Hailing the importance of Turki Al-Faisal`s attending the 5th Global Baku Forum, President Ilham Aliyev described this as a good indicator of cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries.
Saudi Arabian Prince, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies Turki Al-Faisal underlined the significance of the 5th Global Baku Forum in expanding international cooperation.
Turki Al-Faisal said he was deeply impressed by the hospitality in Azerbaijan and astonishing beauty of Baku. He noted that restoration works carried out in Icherisheher sparked his special interest.
The head of state highlighted considerable works recently carried out in the country to preserve historical heritage and build modern architectural landmarks.
