President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with Chief Executive Officer of Statoil Eldar Saetre in Davos.
Statoil CEO Eldar Saetre recalled with pleasure his participation in the opening ceremony of the first European Games in Baku, describing this high-profile event as successful. Eldar Saetre said Azerbaijan set the standard for the next European Games.
President Ilham Aliyev pointed out great history of Azerbaijan-Statoil cooperation, describing the ties as successful and sustainable. President Ilham Aliyev said Statoil`s activity contributed to the development of bilateral cooperation.
They also discussed the issues related to Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, Karabakh, Ashrafi, Dan Ulduzu, Aypara fields, as well as SOCAR-Statoil cooperation.
