President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin made a phone call to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on December 24.
Vladimir Putin congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his birthday, and wished him robust health and success in his high state activities for the welfare of the people of Azerbaijan and development of the country.
The head of state thanked President Vladimir Putin for the attention and congratulations.
The presidents expressed their confidence that based on strategic partnership, friendly relations between the two countries will further enhance.
During the phone conversation, the two presidents also discussed the issues related to various aspects of further development of Russia-Azerbaijan bilateral relations.
