President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus and his spouse Livia Klausova visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

While on an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, the President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus and his spouse Livia Klausova visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Head of the Czech state and his spouse were met by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

President Ilham Aliyev informed high ranking guest and his spouse about goals and activities of the Foundation established in memory of national leader of the Azerbaijani people.

It was reported that the Foundation studies and promotes the rich heritage of national leader and extends its assistance to the progress made by Azerbaijan, the development of its culture and the exploration of its history.

President of the Czech Republic and his spouse got familiarized with photos as well as various pieces related to the different periods of activities of great leader and taken from his personal archives.

During the tour in the Foundation, the President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus and his spouse Livia Klausova were informed that the period when the great leader ruled the country was one of the most glorious pages of Azerbaijani history. Social and economic development as well as the achievements gained by our country and seen today by international community as its exceptional successes are the results of activities of the national leader.

High ranking guest and his spouse have learnt many documents that reflect very different moments of the life of such phenomenal personality as Heydar Aliyev and create a full understanding about the whole period of Azerbaijani history. They have also viewed gifts presented by world known politicians, studied books dedicated to the great leader and got familiarized with views of popular persons of science, culture and arts about the founder of independent Azerbaijani state. They have viewed with interest the photos taken at the meetings, held with leaders of foreign countries.

President Václav Klaus signed the book of honored guests after he toured the Foundation.

The gifts of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation were presented to the head of the Czech state.
