Ilham Aliyev attended a ceremony to open a bridge built over a new tributary of the Aras river

Within the framework of a visit to Imishli District, President Ilham Aliyev has attended a ceremony to open a bridge built over a new tributary of the Aras river.

The head of state examined the plan reflecting technical parameters of the bridge and the construction of a new tributary of the Aras river.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed the President that the construction of the bridge had started in October of last year. The bridge, built on the 4th kilometer of the Bahramtapa-Bilasuvar road, is 230 meters long and 12.5 meters wide. The operation of the bridge will ease traffic in the Bahramtapa-Bilasuvar direction.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed in detail of the work under way on the new tributary of the Aras river.

Then the head of state cut the ribbon marking the opening of the bridge.
