President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has viewed conditions at secondary school No. 247 named after martyr Abdulla Rahimov in Nasimi district, Baku after major overhaul and reconstruction.
Head of Baku City Executive Authority Hajibala Abutalibov informed the head of state of the work done here.
There are photo stands in the foyer of the school reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s attention to the development of education.
The building was constructed in 1969. The building occupies a total area of 15,600 square meters. The school has a total enrollment of 700 pupils in Azerbaijani and Russian sections. They are served by 67 teachers.
The head of state toured the school, and familiarized himself with the conditions created at departments and gym.
President Ilham Aliyev wished the school staff success in the new academic year.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
