President Ilham Aliyev has viewed “Laza” outpost of Shaki Border Unit as part of his visit to Qabala.
Chairman of the State Border Service, Commander of the Border Troops Elchin Quliyev reported to President, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. He said the outpost is situated at an altitude of 1,600 metres. The outpost is supplied with necessary technical equipment, arms and state-of-the-art devices. Troops here use Qarabag horses and specially-trained dogs.
The outpost includes barracks, a canteen, a gym, a leisure room, a training ground, and special buildings. There are 22 residential buildings for officers, sergeants and re-enlisted servicemen here.
