Following the official welcoming ceremony, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych held a private meeting.
Successful development of bilateral relations in various fields was noted at the meeting.
The Presidents also mentioned the significance of high-level mutual visits for strengthening of ties.
The Presidents also talked about the existence of good potential for development of cooperation in political, economic, energy, humanitarian and other fields between the two states. They also expressed confidence in further strengthening of these ties.
Bilateral, regional and international issues were also on the agenda of the meeting.
