On February 27, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a telephone call to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani.
During the phone conversation, President Ilham Aliyev thanked President Hassan Rouhani for the hospitality shown to him and his delegation during the visit to Iran, and said he was very pleased with the results of the trip. It was noted that a new page of cooperative relations between the two countries opened.
The sides also discussed prospects for the development of the bilateral and regional cooperation.
