Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the Officers’ Park in Baku

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of the Officers’ Park in Baku.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva arrived at the park.

The President was given information about the works carried out in the park and the conditions created. It was noted that renovation works commenced in 2009 at the park, with an area of 4 hectares. Additional vegetations have been planted, while preserving the old trees already existing prior to renovation works. A new lighting system has been set and various spots created for leisure of the residents. It was added that a new stone fountain was also built by local specialists at the park. A children’s play-ground, with a distinctive design and soft coating is scheduled to be built in the park. An indoor ice-rink of 700 square meters and an ice-café of original design and appearance have also been built in the park.

The President and the First Lady took a look at the photo album, featuring the previous state of the park.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the reconstruction works carried out in and around the park.
