President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Minister of Defense of Slovenia, Ljubica Jelusic.
The President said the relations between two countries were developing successfully. President Ilham Aliyev said despite its briefness, the visit of the guest to Azerbaijan would create a good opportunity for discussion of military cooperation with her Azerbaijani counterparts. Having recalled his visit to Slovenia with content, President Ilham Aliyev said good relations existed between the heads of state. He noted his frequent meetings with President of Slovenia and their discussions of important issues related to regional development and bilateral ties. The President said he was assured that the visit of Slovenian Defense Minister Ljubica Jelusic to Azerbaijan would be fruitful and effective in terms of exploring cooperation opportunities between the relevant bodies of the two states.
Slovenian Defense Minister Ljubica Jelusic said all members of her delegation were delighted with their visit to Azerbaijan and the opportunity to discuss development of cooperation.
Slovenian Defense Minister Ljubica Jelusic added that the underpinnings of ties between relevant bodies of the two countries were good cooperation between the heads of state and common values shared by the people.
Mrs. Ljubica Jelusic also talked about the morning visit of the delegation to the monument of Mehdi Huseynzade.
