President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Flag Square in Kurdamir District.
The President was informed that the flag flied at a height of 62 meters.
Descriptions of the state anthem, state emblem, and map of Azerbaijan were placed on the top of the pole.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Square.
The construction of the Square started in 2014.
The Square covers a total area of five hectares. The Flag Museum was built in the Square.
