President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the new administrative building of the Samukh District Executive Power.
Up until now, the Samukh District Executive Power was located in the building, built in 1937. In accordance with the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, the construction of the new administrative building began in 2009 and was completed in 2010.
In the foyer of the two-storey building, a bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev has been mounted and a photo corner, reflecting the activities of the national leader and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, was created.
There are 57 office rooms, a reception room, a 280-seat meeting hall, and a conference room in the building, equipped with modern devices.
Having familiarized himself with the building, the President wished success to the staff of the executive power.
President Ilham Aliyev was also given information about the State Flag Square, built in the nearby area. It was noted that the Azerbaijani flag waves on the 36 meters-long metal pole, erected in the center of the square, with an area of 8.7 thousand square meters. A modern lighting system has been installed and decorative trees and vegetation have been planted on the square.
