President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Gazakh region, as part of his visit to the western regions of the country.
The President started his trip by laying flowers at the monument to national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev in the center of Gazakh city.
President Ilham Aliyev was given detailed information about the reconstruction and refurbishment works, carried out in the Heydar Aliyev Park, where the monument is located.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev met with the community representatives of Gazakh region.
